History and Goals
Founded in 2000, Around The Block / Al Doblar La Esquina cultivates community
participation in arts and technologies, with a focus on the life of the New York
City area, and on urban life in general. We welcome people of all backgrounds and
levels of expertise to our activities.
Around The Block is a not-for-profit organization chartered in the State of New York,
tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
